THE BUSINESS CASE FOR DIVERSITY - NOVEMBER 17
Monday, November 17, 4:30-6:00pm, Bank of America Building, Room 310
The Business Diversity Club is proud to present their first event of the year!
As future leaders of tomorrow, MBA students will be faced with issues pertaining to diversity and may have thought of these questions or may need to address them.
- What do employers even mean when they reference diversity?
- Why is appreciating diversity of thought, culture, perspectives, and background important?
- What is the ROI of diversity?
- How can managers be sure to properly deal with diversity in the workplace?
To help address some of these questions, this event will be a panel discussion consisting of local business executives and also HR managers from Puget Sound Energy and State Farm. The moderator will be Michael Verchot from the Foster School of Business and Economic Center. Food will be served. All students are encouraged and welcome to attend.
