ACADEMIC ANNOUNCEMENTS
Spring Quarter Elective Registration
Second-year full-time, global and second and third-year evening MBAs: Believe it or not, bidding for spring quarter electives is only 2 weeks away, with bidding opening on February 5. You can get a headstart on the process by taking a look at the tentative spring schedule on our website as well as the MBA Registration Calendar.
Second-year evening MBAs: Because spring is the first quarter you will be bidding for elective classes, an informational workshop on degree requirements, the bidding process and timelines will be held on February 4, from 5-6pm, location TBA.
First-year full-time MBAs: We will have information sessions and instructions for selecting spring quarter electives in mid-February. Watch future newsletters for details.
Winter Quarter Graduation
If you intend to complete your degree requirements in winter quarter, you need to apply for graduation with the UW Graduate School by February 24. Even if you aren't sure you will graduate this quarter, it is best if you file for graduation--your application can be withdrawn up until the end of the quarter if you change your mind. If you wish to check the requirements that remain for you to complete your degree, please email mbaregis and we will do a degree check. |
CARD CODING FOR LOUNGE
Several of you have asked about getting your cards coded for Lounge access. We will have another chance to do that at the beginning of February (during the next evening MBA dinner on February 6)--sorry for the delay, but the person in charge of this activity is out of town for the next couple of weeks. If you need access to the Lounge in the meantime, email mbaweb@u.washington.edu and we will send you the temporary access code.
