SECOND-YEAR EVENING MBAS: REGISTRATION BIDDING INFORMATION SESSION TONIGHT!
There will be an information session this evening from 5-5:50pm in Boeing Auditorium for second-year evening MBAs to learn about the registration bidding process. We will also discuss the process for requesting advanced core options (aka bridge electives) and your degree requirements, and you will receive an elective registration handbook.
Because of the limited time available, the session will start promptly at 5pm, so that we can get to as many of your questions as possible. For further information about this session, email Barby Pearson. |
ACADEMIC ANNOUNCEMENTS
Spring Quarter Elective Bidding Opens Tomorrow
Bidding for spring quarter elective classes begins tomorrow morning (Feb. 5) at 8:00am. Bidding closes on Monday, February 11 at midnight. All Global, 2nd-Year Full-time, 2nd-Year and 3rd-Year Evening MBAs, and continuing Exchange students are eligible to bid for elective classes for spring.
Instructions for bidding:
If you have questions about the registration process, please email mbaregis@u.washington.edu.
Note: First-year Full-time and Evening MBA students who wish to take advanced elective classes must wait until the bidding process is complete to request spaces in classes. You may request spaces in these electives by sending an email to mbaregis@u.washington.edu beginning February 29. First-year bids using the online form and email requests received before that date will be discarded.
First-Year Full-time and Second-Year Evening MBAs: Advanced Core Options (aka Bridge Electives)
First-year Full-time and second-year Evening MBA students have priority for registration in Advanced Core Options (previously called bridge electives) courses. Requests for advanced core options classes will be handled through a separate process beginning the week of February 11. Second-year Evening MBAs will learn about this process during the bidding information session this evening; first-year full-time students will have the opportunity to learn about this at several sessions during the week of February 11.
First-year full-time MBAs: Mark your calendars now to attend a session to learn about advanced core options. Information sessions about registering for spring advanced core options classes will be held on the following days/times next week: Monday, February 11, 10:30-11:30; Tuesday, February 12, 10:30-11:30; Thursday, February 14, 9:30-10:30 and 12:30-1:30. Note that the same material will be covered in each session so you only need to attend one of these sessions.
First-Year Full-time MBAs: Spring Section Assignments/Schedule
The section assignments for spring quarter core classes will be distributed during the week of February 25. The schedule of spring core classes will be posted during the week of February 11, and you will learn more about this schedule at the advanced core options information sessions (see above) next week. |
CARD CODING FOR LOUNGE
If you missed getting your Husky Card scanned for access to the MBA Lounge in autumn, you will have a chance to do that on February 6 from 5-6pm (during the evening MBA dinner) in the Seminar Room on the fourth floor of Bank of America Executive Education Center. |
EVENING MBA DINNER, FEBRUARY 6
We invite all Evening MBAs to welcome prospective students and get dinner before class on February 6 from 5-6pm in the Douglas Forum on the fourth floor of Bank of America Executive Education Center.
