- Obtain an internship.
- Complete a Curricular Practical Training Letter Request form.
- Submit completed form, along with the Curricular Practical Training Recommendation form (pdf.) Allow two business days for letter/form processing.
- Register on MyUW for BA 560 using the information given to you by the MBA Program Office.
- Take your letter and CPT Recommendation form to ISS for processing.
Who can answer questions I have about my visa status?
When you have questions about your visa, you should consult with the advisers in the Office of International Students and Scholars.
International students participating in an internship or project in the U.S. must take BA 560 to be in compliance with CPT requirements. Students who do their internships outside the U.S. do not need to take BA 560. You must register for BA 560 in each quarter that you are involved in an internship/project.
