GSEC Week University of Washington (UW)	GSEC teams are required to attend events marked with a below*
Monday February 23
Company Visit	GSEC teams only; RSVP required 2:30 PM MacKenzie Parking lot (Foster School of Business) Load vans for PATH tour
Tuesday February 24
Company Visit	GSEC teams only; RSVP required 11:15 AM MacKenzie Parking lot (Foster School of Business) Load vans for Microsoft tour 1:45 PM MacKenzie Parking lot (Foster School of Business) Load vans for Unitus tour
Wednesday February 25
*Orientation 1:30 - 3 pm BAEEC 320, UW Foster School	GSEC teams and volunteers only
*Trade Show 4 - 6 pm UW HUB West Ballroom	Teams give a formal pitch of their business plan to mock investors who will select a team for the Investor’s Choice Award. Teams are required to provide a poster and create one PowerPoint Slide outlining their business idea. Teams may bring additional materials. Each team will be given a display table.
*Welcome Dinner 6 - 7:30 pm UW HUB	Invitation Only
Thursday February 26
*Coaching Round 9 am-11:30 am UW HUB	Teams present their business plan and receive feedback from participants in academia and the private sector.
Lunch for Teams 11:30 am – 1:00 pm
Friday February 27
*Preliminary Round 9 am - 11 am UW HUB	All teams present their business plan in the Preliminary Round and finalists teams are selected to compete in the Final Round for prize money.
*Final Round 2 pm - 4:30 pm Douglas Forum, Foster School	All teams present their business plan in the Preliminary Round and finalists teams are selected to compete in the Final Round for prize money.
*Awards Banquet 6:30 - 10 pm Fremont Studios	Please join us to celebrate 5 years of GSEC—the world class program that develops leaders who think differently and make a difference. Featuring keynote speaker Dr. William Foege, the GSEC banquet will highlight GSEC teams’ innovative business solutions to problems of global poverty. You will have the chance to meet the teams during the reception and see the winners of 2009 GSEC. You won’t want to miss this inspirational and leading-edge event—including a surprise guest!
