A typical long-term customized program runs for one-month or longer.
The program is intensive, offering an academic track similar
to a mini-MBA. The curriculum touches upon many different subjects
in the area of general management. Participants should have
a mid- to high-level of English proficiency, as the program
is conducted in English. Depending on the group, Business English
classes may be integrated into the curriculum.
Curriculum ranges from
a general management style, where a variety of subjects are
reviewed, to a focused exploration of just one or two topics
for more intensive study. Sample subject areas include (but
not limited to): leadership, negotiation, marketing, global
strategies, e-business, finance and accounting, and more.
The length of a long-term program allows you the flexibility
to incorporate other innovative options as you choose. These
options may include a mentor program with local executives
or help sessions with UW MBA students. Long-term programs
may also emphasize action-learning projects where participants
develop a project for improving the company's process or profitability
and present the final plan to senior executives upon program
completion.
