The Michael G. Foster School of Business is preparing the next generation of business leaders to build and drive an economy that benefits the citizens of Washington, the nation and the world. To effectively mold the business leaders of tomorrow, we must provide the students of today with the best faculty, technology, facilities and learning opportunities in theory and practice.

Three areas for campaign funding support have been identified that will move the Foster School to national prominence and ensure excellence in the education we deliver to our stakeholders.

Facility Campaign

Investing in a new facility is essential to meet our projected growth in faculty and students, to increase revenues from self-sustaining programs, and to support all of our programs and deliver the innovative curriculum and team-based approach to learning that we embrace. Creating a first-rate facility is also critical to our efforts to recruit and retain leading faculty, recruit top students, and build stronger ties to the business community.

Faculty Endowments

Faculty is the single most important element in providing students with an exceptional learning experience and enhancing our reputation for teaching and scholarship. A $30 million endowment goal ensures the resources for retaining and recruiting faculty to the Foster School.

Creating scholarships helps to recruit the best and brightest students and eliminates the barriers posed to some by rising tuition costs. Our goal of $15 million will help strengthen accessibility to deserving students.
