Information Systems students are involved in a variety of extra-curricular activities. One of the most prominent technology-focused student organizations is BITS.
The Business Information Technology Society (BITS) is a student organization at the Michael G. Foster School of Business. Their purpose is threefold:
- To enhance the educational experience for the student interested in information technology.
- To promote awareness of career opportunities in information systems.
- To serve as a liasion between the students and faculty at the University of Washington's Michael G. Foster School of Business and the business community.
