RULFG.com – “Are You Looking For a Group?” – is a social networking and game scheduling service for the 16 million players of multiplayer online role-playing games such as World of Warcraft, EVE Online, and Everquest. Looking for MBAs with marketing and/or business plan experience, and well-rounded PHP/MySQL developers with intermediate experience in OOP coding, rich UI through JS and AJAX, using CSS to build pages, and cutting up PSDs. A big bonus would be if you are very active on social networking sites, Facebook, MySpace, etc. Gaming experience is also a plus, but not required. If you feel you are stronger in some areas than others, that's fine, just let us know. With the right team, RULFG.com can almost certainly launch this Spring or Summer.

Seeking fitness-minded students to assist in building a Pilates studio to serve as a one-stop fitness center. Most Pilates studios offer only mind-body classes (Pilates and yoga). However, I would also choose to add in a few "Pilates plus cardio" classes that are 30 minutes Pilates, 30 minutes indoor group cycling. In the same facility, you can choose to get a cardio workout and a core strength workout in an hour. Team members must have a passion for fitness, be energetic, and be fun.

Myles Phipps at mphipps@hctc.com

I have a product called BNV or "Bee-Envy," which is a low-calorie, no-fat, sugarless honey alternative. It has zero sugar, zero fat, and about 90% fewer calories than regular honey. BNV has a lot of potential to use to create a new family of lowered calorie food products related to honey, but not actually honey. It's patent protected and I'm seeking for assistance in marketing and sales, fund raising, and day-to-day managerial skills associated with the manufacturing and possibly distribution.

Xiaoqiang Jin at jinxj@myyeyou.com

Sherrylyn Filoteo at sf@dailyuw.com or 360.672.5856

Looking for three other students with focuses on: entrepreneurship, operations management, and finance; I am always open to other concentrations and degrees.
Crepes anyone? If you've ever made this tasty breakfast treat you know that it is quick and easy to make. My idea is to start a crepe stand franchise; this would be equivalent to a drive up coffee stand but we would be serving healthy breakfast options. Overhead is low and profit margin is high, but we won't just be another profit based company. Major portions of our profit will go towards giving back to the community and setting up an international non-profit organization.

Seeking motivated teammates to join the development of an innovative not-for-profit venture in the Internet Communication industry. I’m an undergraduate Business Honors Program student with an Entrepreneurship focus, excited to enter this Social Business enterprise in the 2009 Business Plan Competition. NovoMail is a nonprofit e-mail service providing users with many innovative features, including imbedded Web navigation technology, an improved user-friendly interface, custom design (“MyNovo”), live chat capabilities, increased online storage, and many other improvements on current e-mail service providers. While NovoMail will be a free service to users, the profits earned from advertisements on our site will be channeled to nonprofit organizations dedicated to social causes like poverty alleviation, environmental protection, and global healthcare. A user-based voting system will organize and delegate funds to our NGO partners. I am currently writing the business plan and designing a Website for this project. I’m looking to form an energetic and creative team of business, computer science, and students from other areas of study. Must be dedicated and reliable, with a passion for business, philanthropy, and the growth of this high-potential social business.

Al Shake at alshake@msn.com

Craigslist still remains the leader in online classified ads. I’ve originated “Agora” (code name) which is designed to use its strengths to capitalize on the numerous weaknesses of Craigslist with a very novel approach to the classified and publishing industries, and that will realize new opportunities overlooked by others. Agora’s nonconformist strategy and proof in design will attract a close alliance with an industry titan such as Google, Microsoft, Amazon or other in becoming a major player in online classifieds. With a chance to change the world of classified ads, and the newspaper industry on six continents for millions of people, Agora is well worth the effort. Besides, it’s a business that does well in economic downturns. Moreover, early interest in Agora has already been registered as you will learn. I want to find out who has the passion to help build a progressive business plan for Agora so that we can pull the classifieds industry out of last century with exciting new technologies, functionality, reach and strategic partnerships into a brand new world where imagination is surpassed by the real possibilities.
