Educating Tomorrow's Global Managers Today

The Global Business Program
The globalization of the economy -- from emerging markets and foreign competition to multinational companies, from collaborative ventures to new trade agreements and boundary-less technologies -- now affects every business. Mangers who are confident and skillful players in this global arena are in high demand.

The Global Business Program, facilitated by the Global Business Center (a federally funded Center for International Business Education and Research through the U.S. Department of Education), nurtures those qualities in MBA students. With the program's location in the Pacific gateway of Seattle, a diverse student body, a talented faculty with extensive international experience, the resources of a world-class university, and opportunities for overseas exchange programs and study tours, the Global Business Program offers a unique environment for training global business managers. In fact, according to the U.S. News and World Report, the UW ranks among the top 25 graduate programs in international business in the country.

The Global Business Program encompasses all global MBA programs including the Global Business Program Certificate. MBAs are encouraged to participate in any or all of the various programs that comprise the Global Business Program. Pursuing a certificate in Global Business is not a requirement to participate in the Global Business Forum, Global Business Study Tour or an MBA exchange program.
