CFO Roundtable

The CFO Roundtable at the University of Washington's Michael G. Foster School of Business promotes communication between CFOs of leading corporations and UW faculty. Fusing academia with industry, the program promotes discussion and research on current topics of concern to CFOs. The Roundtable provides a means for CFOs to share their knowledge and learn about the latest finance research.

Our last CFO Roundtable, held in October 2011 o the important topic of "Business Considerations of Shared Services and Internal Process Improvement", featured Deb Vander Bogart, Senior Director Financial Shared Services, Levi Strauss & Co., Lloyd Tanlu, Foster School of Business Professor of Accounting, and Teri Vigneux, Director of Shared Services and Outsourcing, KPMG LLP.

CFO's seeking more information about the CFO Roundtable should contact Jenny Selby, Corporate and Foundation Relations, at  jselby@u.washington.edu.

The unique focus of the CFO Roundtable on research and knowledge dissemination differentiates it from other finance-related organizations. CFOs gain access to input from faculty and other CFOs on key issues. Faculty learn the inside perspective on the financial issues currently arising in the business world.

The CFO Roundtable is a Foster School of Business program conducted in cooperation with the firm Cushman & Wakefield.
